Torrus, the Nigerian teenager who was ridiculed by Seyi Shay a judge at the Nigerian Idol talent show has finally opened up on how those words made him feel.
Recall that Nigerian singer, Seyi Shay hurriely ridiculed a 17-year-old Nigerian Idol contestant for not having what it takes to make money from singing.
She had said ;
“Somebody lied to you and told you to come and audition, and that person, you should go back and tell them they’re not your friends because that was not good audition.
“Oh, you have a good talking voice, and it comes out in your singing voice, but your performance, terrible. You’re never going to make money being a singer.”
The Nigerian singer who was heavily criticised on social media came back online to react, thanking everyone who made her trend rather than apologizing as many expected.
Meanwhile, the 17-year-old contestant, Ayo Torrus quoted the tweet showing the video and wrote ;
“This broke me Emotionally and Psychologically, but God got me !!”
